These are the classroom rules and expectations for Mr. Harpster's classroom.
Class Expectations
- Be prompt
- Be attentive
- Be courteous
- Be respectful
The appropriateness of most actions and behaviors of students can be addressed by returning to these four simple expectations. Students who are not meeting class expectations should expect disciplinary action. Depending on the seriousness and frequency of misbehavior, the consequences may be a request/warning, brief personal conference, detention (15 minutes), or sent to the office. Specific applications and examples to illustrate the class expectations may be found here: examples
Students are expected to have a notebook and something to write with and have these with them at each class session. Math students should bring their textbooks and calculators to class unless previously told not to do so.
