ITQ Project
Under a grant provided through the Improving Teacher Quality Program, Nebraska
Wesleyan University, along with College of Saint Mary, hosted a week-long program
with the goal of "enhancing the instruction of culturally, linguistically, and
demographically diverse students in the core disciplines through integration
of technology." The program took place during the summer of 2004 and included
12 inservice teachers and 12 Nebraska Wesleyan students. Teachers and students
worked cooperatively during the week of August 2-6, 2004, and will continue to work on projects throughout
the 2004-2005 school year. My partner in this program is Scott Burns, an NWU student from McCook. He is a math major and has expertise in many technology areas. More information about our project may be found in the abstract.
