Writing- write Part 4,5, and 6 of An Early American Christmas
Phonics- /ou/ sound as in out and cow
Grammer- adjectives (describing words)
Spelling- /ou/ spelled ou and ow List A(sound, ground, house, mouse, loud, down, brown, town, owl, growl) List B(about, around, playground, flour, flower, coward, crowd, however, meowed, thousand)
Math- continue Unit 2: chapter 9 review and test-(exploring 2-digit subtraction), begin chapter 10-(subtract a 1-digit or 2-digit number from a 2-digit number, with or without regrouping)
Unit Studies- various projects to reinforce our writing of An Early American Christmas (decorate salt/flour cookie ornaments, make hand and heart cut- paper designs, string popcorn and dry apple rings for garland)
