I have been teaching and coaching at Waverly for 14 years.
After graduating from Waverly High School I moved on to Nebraska
Wesleyan University where I graduated with a BS degree in history and
physical education. In 2000 I received a masters in curriculum and instruction
from UNL. After college in 1987 I moved to Red Cloud, Nebraska
to teach physical education and history at Red Cloud High School. I
left Red Cloud and moved back to Lincoln in May of 1991 where I coached
football and wrestling at Lincoln Northeast High School for two years. Moving to School District 145 in the fall of 1993 where I teach
middle school health and physical education. I have had the great
opportunity to coach wrestling both at the high school and the middle
school here in Waverly. Including the years of coaching at Northeast
High School in college, I have just concluded my 23rd year of coaching.
It doesn't seem possible. My wife Robin and I were married Oct.17, 1992, we
have two children Dana (11) and Alex (6).
