Welcome to the Malcolm Public School Counseling Center.
The MPS Counseling Center objective is to keep students, parents and staff informed of guidance and counseling items and issues. The Junior-Senior School Counseling newsletter is available here. All junior and senior students receive this newsletter in English, Economics or Business Communication classes approximately monthly. It includes current school counseling news and a listing of scholarship applications received in the MPS Counseling Center organized by due date. Using this site will allow parents access to this newsletter if your student leaves his/her copy in the bottom of the school locker or book bag!! Younger students and their parents will find information about workshops and conferences by grade level. You will also find links to helpful sites in career exploration, personal-social resources, planning for post-secondary education and financial aid and many other topics.

For more information about college admissions testing, the ACT and SAT, visit their websites at http://www.actstudent.org or http://www.collegeboard.com. To register for either exam you will need the code, 281-400, for Malcolm Public School.
