This site is maintained by Dan Jensen. I'm a U.S. History teacher at Waverly Public High School, District #145. Specifically, I teach Freshmen Core U.S. History, and Advanced Placement U.S. History. I'm also the Head
Boys Soccer Coach, and am the Social Education Area Chairperson. Overall,
I've taught and been a head coach for 19 years, the last 9 at Waverly.
I graduated from Burnsville High School in suburban Minneapolis in 1980, and then earned a B.S. at Dana College in 1984. I earned my M.A. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1991. From 1985 - 1995 I was the social studies teacher and head boys basketball coach at Johnson-Brock Public School.
