Test Correction Procedure
Civics and Economics students can raise their test score by doing test corrections. For every question that is corrected, students will earn half of the points that they had lost from giving an incorrect answer. For example, if a student misses five questions and receives an 80% on a test, they can do the corrections for five questions. Their grade would be raised to a 90%.
Use a separate sheet of paper. For every missed question, three items need to be done:
- Students need to find the correct answer in the textbook and write a sentence out of the book that supports the correct answer.
- Write the correct answer.
- Write the page number on which they found the correct information.
You must include all three items in order to receive any points. Here is a example of what a test correction should look like (this is not an actual answer to a test question):
