Hoops for Heart Award
The American Heart Association presented Eagle Elementary School with a plaque designating the school as the top Hoops for Heart school in Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa for 2006-2007. Sixty-three students in third to fifth grade participated and they collected $3,704. The event was coordinated at the school by P.E. teacher Stan Erickson.
