curriculum
Physical education is the
study and practice of the science and the art of human
movement. Through physical education, an individual has the
opportunity to learn to perform efficiently the motor skills
they need in everyday living and recreational activities.
Students will become physically fit and know the
relationships between physical activity, physical fitness
and health. Students will improve skills, knowledge and
attitudes, to help them lead active, healthy, and productive
lives as adults. Satisfying and successful experiences in
physical education should develop individual desire to
regularly participate in physical activity throughout
life.
