Mrs. Janet Ronhovde
I have been a teacher for District 145 for 36 years. I taught 1st Grade
for 7 years and Chapter Math for 3 years at Hamlow Elementary before
transferring to Eagle. I have been
in second grade at Eagle for the last 26 years. I received my bachelor
and masters degree from the University of Nebraska.
I have always lived in District 145. I met my
husband while attending Waverly High School. We live just
outside Eagle on a farm. We have four daughters. The oldest is
married and lives in Colorado with her fireman husband and their two
daughters. The second married daughter lives and works in
Lincoln and has a son. The third daughter graduated from
Nebraska Wesleyan and is working full time at a physical therapy aid
while taking more classes at the University of Nebraska. Our youngest
is a freshman at Nebraska Wesleyan.
I love to teach Second Grade. The children are always excited to
learn and they love to try new things. It is a pleasure to teach
at such a "warm and caring school"!
