7th Grade Curriculum
TRANSPORTATION TECHNOLOGY - This is a 6-week exploratory course. This class is designed to give students a knowledge and understanding of the history and future of Transportation. We will discuss transportation systems: land, marine, air, and space. The students will be building mousetrap cars, gliders, foam boats, and hovercrafts. We will also touch on the principles of an internal combustion engine. A writing assignment will be required over the new advances in transportation systems.
The learner will be able to:
