Mrs. Kristi Bowker
Hello! I am a math and
English teacher here at Waverly High school. This is my first
teaching job and am beginning my fifteenth year of teaching. For
extracurricular activities, I sponsored cheerleading from 1993-1998 and
coached JV softball from 1996-2003.
I graduated from Crete High
School. I received my bachelor's degree in secondary education
from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and my master's degree in
curriculum and instruction from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
In
my spare time I enjoy reading, writing (when I'm inspired), walking
my black lab, and going for walks with my husband and son.
My
family is spread out, having one sister and three nieces in Kansas, one
sister in Florida, my dad in Lincoln, and my mother in Council Bluffs,
Iowa.
On
July 31, 2004, I got married. Below is a picture of my husband and
me taken at our wedding and our first child, Keaton, born on September 5, 2006.
