Varsity Band members will be graded on the following criteria:

Music playing and preparation

Performances
A final exam will be given at the conclusion of each semester. The final exam will be worth 10% of the semester grade.

Written performance evaluation
Written playing evaluation
Written concert evaluation
Participation

Playing instrument
Posture/attitude/effort
Daily attendance
Respect of school property (music, instruments, etc.)
Proper concert dress (black shoes & socks, uniforms, etc.)
