7:00 A.M. Load the vans and buses (mallets, drum line, large brass instruments)
7:15 A.M. Depart for Columbus
9:00 A.M. Arrive in Columbus
Change into band uniforms
Assemble for parade position
9:30 A.M. The Columbus Parade begins
Waverly is the 13th band to march out of 23 bands.
10:30 A.M. Change out of band uniforms
11:00 A.M. Eat Lunch
12:00 P.M. Depart for Columbus Middle School
12:15 P.M. Arrive at Columbus Middle School
12:15 P.M. Marching Practice at Columbus Middle School
12:30 P.M. Depart to Stadium
1:00 P.M. Arrive at stadium & change
Wear boxer shorts & t-shirt
1:15 P.M. Report to the Assembly Area
1:25 P.M. Report to the Warm-up Area
1:45 P.M. Go to the Stadium
1:55 P.M. Line-up Time
2:00 P.M. Perform
2:20 P.M. Clinic
2:15 P.M. Awards C/B – Parade
2:30 P.M. Load the busses
2:45 P.M. Depart for Waverly High School
4:45 P.M. Arrive at Waverly High School
5:45 P.M. A/AA Field Competition Awards
** EVERYONE MUST WEAR BOXER SHORTS AND A T-SHIRT DUE TO CHANGING
ON THE BUS. BRING APPROPRIATE CLOTHING DUE TO THE
WEATHER!!!! *
Reminders:
- If you are on medication, please notify Ms. Dalby & Mr. Kucera
- If you are not returning on the bus, you must have a note
in writing from
your parents and
you must check out with Ms. Dalby/Mr. Kucers before you leave.
- DO NOT EAT FOOD OR DRING BEVERAGES WHILE YOU ARE WEARING YOUR BAND UNIFORM!!! THANK YOU.
- Remember the following: Black shoes & socks, NO EARRINGS, Gloves, Hat,
- Instrument, extra reeds, valve oil, etc. no nail polish (clarinets), and $$$.
