Project Evaluation

Beyond Expectations

Completed as required

Needs Work

Project Poster

Research was thorough and included not only all the required pieces, but included some interesting facts, along with extra pictures and links.  Facts were cited so information could be easily found.

All required pieces were included, including one picture and one link.  No extra information was added.  Content was cited but may not be in student's own words.

Project may be missing some basic requirements.  Very minimal research was done.

Effort

Student worked everyday in class.  Student researched chosen career independently until they found necessary information.

Student needed to work more independently in class or on their own to find necesary information.

Student did not research on their own.  Student put forth little to no effort.

Business Card

Student showed their thought process through a variety of sketches.  The card included all required pieces.  It is creative, original, visually pleasing and captures a connection between the design and the business.

Student completed sketches and included all required pieces.  Overall design is nice but may need more creativity or originality.

Student's sketches are sloppy and incomplete.  Final design may be missing pieces or shows no creativity.

Pre-project acivities

Student completed all activities thoroughly and maintained a postive attitude.  Student not only did what was required but may have done more.  All work was done on time.

Student completed the activites to the absolute minimum.  Work was done but maybe not on time.

Student may not have completed the activities, or my have been consistently late. Attitude needed improvement.
