About Mrs. Wilke
Background: I grew up in Grand Island and graduated from Central Catholic in 1995. I attended Doane College and graduated with a degree in Art and Endorsed in K-12 Education. I also received my Masters in Education from Doane as well. My first year teaching was spent in Arizona where I taught high school Art and coached Varsity volleyball. Then I got married and moved to North Dakota and taught elementary resource and coached 10th grade volleyball. Now I am in my 6th year teaching at Crete Middle School and coaching 8th grade volleyball!
Family: I live in Lincoln with my husband Shawn and our two labs, Dakota and Bradley! We've been married for almost 8 years. No kids yet, but we have enough nieces and nephews to keep us busy!
Fun Stuff: I love playing and coaching volleyball, watching movies, decorating our new house, scrapbooking, traveling, and anything related to art.
Travel Spots: I have been lucky enough to travel to Europe (England, France, Germany, Switzerland) and I have also cruised through the Caribbean (Curacao, Cayman Islands, Jamaica, Aruba, Mexico) and the Bahamas. My husband and I have traveled to California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, New York, Florida, Minnesota, and Canada.
