Digital Photography

Course Description
This course is designed for students in journalism who will be producing "The Huskie" yearbook. Students will be introduced to digital imaging: creating the image, storing the image, viewing the image, editing (modifying or correcting) the image, and outputting the image. The students will use Nikon Coolpix digital cameras to create images and transfer the images to a computer. Next the students will use Adobe Photoshop to edit the images and then save the images in the correct file format. The last step is to import the images into Adobe Pagemaker for the yearbook.
