About

Kelly Verkamp...
I am currently in my fourteenth year as an educator -- I was a high school English teacher for four years prior to becoming a school counselor.  This is my eighth year at Waverly High School in the guidance department.  In addition to my counseling responsibilites, I sponsor the National Honor Society and I serve as the coordinator for our School-Community Intervention and Prevention (SCIP) Team.

I grew up and graduated from high school in Wahoo, Nebraska.  I attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for both my undergraduate and graduate studies.  Currently, I reside in the community of Waverly with my husband and children.

Jason Boitnott...
I have been an educator for twelve years.  This is my fifth year as a guidance counselor for the district. I began at Waverly High School in 1997 as an English teacher and a special education teacher. I am currently the sponsor for Waverly Student Council, a member of the School-Community Intervention and Prevention (SCIP) , and the coordinator for the Student Assistant Team (S.A.T.) .

I am originally from Hebron, Nebraska and presently live in Avoca, Nebraska. I attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and received a Bachelor's of Science degree in English Education and a Master's of Arts degree in Special Education. I am presently enrolled in a master's program for school guidance at UNL as well. My free time is devoted to my daughter, Bailey, and my wife, Wendy, who is the high school special education coordinator.
