DRIVER EDUCATION

WAVERLY HIGH SCHOOL HAS TEAMED UP WITH THE ALL-METRO DRIVING SCHOOL & THE NEBRASKA SAFETY COUNCIL FOR DRIVER EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES

NEBRASKA SAFETY COUNCIL

Driver Education classes
Waverly, Nebraska
Course Curriculum:
⢠    22    hours    of    classroom    instruction
⢠    5    hours    hands-on    driving     
⢠    5    hours    of    observation    (suggested but not required)
⢠    1â2    hour    Behind-The-Wheel    Drive    Test    for    Provisional    Operatorâs    Permit     
(POP)
⢠    Driving    includes:    highway/gravel,    parallel/perpendicular/angle    parking,     
marked    and    unmarked    streets/intersections,    interstate    driving,    heavy    city     
traffic    driving.
tuition Fee:  $275
(Includes student materials)
⢠    Advance    registration    and    payment    are    required.
⢠    Student    must    have    a    learnerâs    permit    to    enroll.
Driving appointment cancellation Policy: Students    must    give    their    instructors     
at    least    four (4) hours notice    before    cancelling    a    driving    appointment.    Failure     
to    do    this    will    result    in    a    $20.00 no call, no show charge    and    must    be    paid     
before    students    can    receive    their    P.O.P.    forms.
lost P.o.P. Form: There    is    a    $5.00    fee    to    obtain    a    replacement    form    if    a    P.O.P.     
form    is    lost    or    misplaced.

ALL-METRO DRIVING SCHOOL
Fall Drivers Education will take place in the FCS room of Waverly High School from 3:40 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. on the following days: 
                                                Wednesday, October 1st.  
                                                 Monday, October 6th
                                                 Wednesday, October 8th
                                                 Monday, October 13th
                                                 Wednesday, October 15th
                                                 Monday, October 20th
                                                 Wednesday, October 22nd
                                                 Monday, October 27th
                                                 Tuesday, October 28th [Possible class for make up or if additional time is needed]
PRICE:
The price is only $265 for Waverly students IF 16 or more attend the course.  (It will cost $275 per student if only 12 to 15 register--there is a 12 student minimum).  A $50 deposit will be due to Faye in the counselors' office by Friday, September 26th.  This deposit is non-refundable. 

A check made payable to the All-Metro Driving School for $215 (since $50 has already been paid through the deposit) should accompany the registration form and the full balance is due at the first class. 

THE PROCESS:
Your student must  1) inform Faye Winter, counseling secretary, of his or her plan to attend the course, 2) sign up in the counseling office, and 3) turn in the $50 commitment deposit, and 4) complete the registration form   Faye can be reached at 786-2765.
