The following sites will allow you to complete personal assessments that will match you to careers related to your findings.
Jung Typology Test This test is similar to the Myers-Briggs personality test.
Instructions: Click on Jung Typology Test. Click on Take Test. Click on Do it! Print your results (page 1 of 1). Click on Identify Your Career with the Jung Career Indicator. Print the careers listed.
TestCafe This site has a variety of tests you may take. You will be seeing what your Emotional IQ is.
Instructions: If a list of tests pops up on the Web site, click on the Emotional IQ Test link. Once you have read the instructions and information about Emotional Intelligence on the Web site, click on Take the Emotional Intelligence Test Print or record your results.
NCIS--Ideas Assessment You will be accessing the Internet version of the NCIS program. The login is waverlyhs06 and the password is H0(zero)328. Click on IDEAS Assessment. Click on Skills Profile. Yes, there are four pages of questions. You must complete the test in one period. Print your results, which tell you if your skills in the following interest areas: conventional, enterprising, artistic, social, investigative, or realistic. You will use this information for the last assessment given below.
NCIS--SkillsGot back to the NCIS program and select the skills that best meet your personality and abilities. Print the results.
NCIS--O*Net Interest Profile Using the NCIS program once again, click on O*Net Interest Profiler. You will be given five pages of questions to determine where your interests are. Using your "Interest Area," you will explore occupations when completing the next activity.
MU Career Center This Career Interest Game will allow you to look at the different types of personalities and careers that are available for that type of personality.
Instructions: Click on the interest/personality (Conventional, Enterprising, Social, Artistic, Realistic, Investigative) that was the result of your assessment using the O*Net Interest Profiler. Bookmark the page and print the results. Look through the careers listed and circle three of the careers that would be of interest to you. You will be using both the Web page and handout at in the near future.
