English 8
In 8th grade English the students complete several large units of study.
They include:
- the 8th Grade Science Fair, research paper
- descriptive writing, in preparation for the State Writing Test
- short stories and elements of fiction
- parts of speech
- using dialogue in writing
- poetry and figurative language
- using nonfiction materials
