ATTENTION ALL MOMS.....The St. John Moms in Touch groups have completed their regular prayer meetings for this school year.  We are, however, prayerfully looking forward to and eagerly anticipating the 2008-2009 school year!  Next year, we will continue to pray, but we have decided to unite both the Thursday and the Sunday group.  The new time for the St. John Moms in Touch group will be 6:00 am - 7:00 am (yes you read correctly - 6:00am!), with a tentative day choice of Thursday morning.  The location has yet to be determined.  Jill and Sara will still be leading, but we would love to hear if anyone is interested in learning more about being a MITI leader!  Please call Sara (643-6234) or Jill (643-6863) if you have any questions! If you have never attended a MITI meeting and this new time might make it possible for you to join us, we would love to hear from you.  "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:" Ecclesiastes 3:1

RELAY FOR LIFE  Help find the cure for cancer!  Give to the Relay for Life donation can in the St. John cafeteria!  Want to do more?  Talk to Nancy Duncan 643-4963, St. John School Relay Team Leader.  Relay for Life donates money toward research on cancers to help find a cure.

COUPON, LABEL, AND RECEIPT PROGRAMS – St. John can redeem the following coupons, labels, and receipts for cash or school supplies.  A collection box is in the window of the school copy room (#119).  Here are some guidelines for clipping and saving.

  • Boxtops for Education:  These should be neatly clipped, with the entire expiration date legible.  No taped or stapled coupons are redeemable.  A list of eligible products will be posted in the window of Room 118.
  • Campbell’s Soup UPC’s & lids:  The Campbell’s Labels for Education program has changed the requirements for submitting proofs of purchase.  Labels will no longer be accepted.  Instead, for most products the UPC is required.  For Prego and V8 products, the lid is required.
  • Our Family brand UPC’s:  From any Our Family product.
  • Sun Mart cash register tapes:  No date stipulations.  Please submit the itemized grocery receipt, not the debit card receipt.
  • Affiliated (Pac-n-Save) cash register tapes:  Must be dated between 9-1-06 and 3-31-07.  The receipts are easiest to work with when flat, not rolled into bundles.  Please submit the itemized grocery receipt, not the debit card receipt.
Thank you for participating in these worthwhile projects!
