Rules:
1. The top priority in the classroom and laboratory will be the safety of all students. To this end all safety precautions will be followed and failure to do so will result in the students removal from the class and resulting loss of grades during this time frame.
2. The students will be courteous to all fellow students and the teacher. This will be accomplished by not talking while other individuals have the floor and refraining from negative comments pertaining to others person or ideas.
3. No food or beverage will be allowed in the classroom with the exception of the lab where it will be necessary to remain hydrated during welding classes. Carbonated beverages are not allowed, only water and fruit drinks.
4. Students will not be allowed to participate in lab without proper clothing and will be docked on thier grades for failure to participate. The following is a list of required clothing.
Safety Googles or Glasses, Long sleeve shirt, Long pants (No Shorts), No frayed ends on the jeans (You will catch on fire), Leather welding gloves, and a pair of pliers.
5. Students who have forgotten thier equipment will stand in the designated area for the duration of the class to avoid possible accidents.
6. Students receiving detentions in my classroom will serve them with me and will do so after school. They have the day the detention was given and the day following to serve this detention. At this time the detentions will start to double everyday they go unserved. The student may not be signed out for an activity if they have detentions pending.
